thank you for that inspriation. I plan to write a ton this summer. I have set aside thursdays 12-9 as my writing days.
HAHA! Sounds like my THESIS!
yes...now we see in parts...soon we shall see the complete details...stephen have u ever faced writer's block?
Lyre-
Yes, I needed it too.
Dance-
You can do it!! :)
Blkfeline-
Yes, all the time. It's either I have nothing to say or I say too much so I have to go back and delete. :)
Otherwise, I feel I have accomplished something even if it is just one sentence.
Hey, nice quote. It's like our hidden dreams, awaiting to breathe life into itself. I'm happy to be an inspiration to this wonderful blog.
Peace.
Zapped-
Yes, I was zapped when I posted this. :)Thanks again. I really like your interpretation.
Sounds like a nine-month pregnant woman with about 10centimeters of dilation. The baby is taking too long to move down the birht canal because "Out of fear, or her inability to conceive her innate strengh to complete the process" She allowed the doctor to administer a muscle relaxant. Now her muscles are too relaxed to push the baby out. A delayed natural process, I prefer to call it, or shall I say man trying to help God ....Can man help God?
Thank you Stephen for enlightening us once more ***wink***
Tryphina-
Uhhh...can you repeat that? :)
It will come! Just keep staring! lol
Sugar-
lol It really will. :)
Sure my brother "writers block" is fear of writing just what is in your mind ...nothing! You know I am not a writer but for you I am willing to make a fool out of me seff. Let's try this;
I am sitting here thinking
nothing, I am writing nothing
My mind has nothing in it, so
I will write nothing until
I have something. Wait, I hear thunder, the sky has something
Writing is a flow of all ideas, and imaginations. Jot it all down and reminisce later.
Hope to see you on the shelves this soon :)
He's describing the birth process of words onto paper. I feel it.
Peace to you, Stephen!
Tryphina-
Well said both times. I agree. I used to tell my students the same, "write about the fact that you have nothing to write about."
Oh Oh...What's that? I think I'm having labor pains! :)
UB-
Yes, and it's a bouncing baby leatherbound. :)
Marvellous feeling.
Rethabile-
Yes indeed!
OMG what a great sentence!!!
Profzero-
Agreed! :)
Words are powerful, yet powerful words sometimes elude us.
Writing is wonderful in that, like the quote says, it holds such excitement and anticipation.
Love it!
Sokari of Black Looks has also posted an awesome line: HERE
Dawn-
Yes, I had that photo and I just wanted the perfect quote to fit it and I found that one. I love it too and I learned something about Vladimir.
Rethabile-
Thanks for that.
The blank sheet alights the imagination - all that wonderful space to set down words! ah the possibilities of writing!
There is something mysterious yet stimulating about a blank piece of paper, this reminds me of the Rose Color Ink poem I posted in my blog.
Sometimes the less you write the more you say. Thank you again for that! Have a great day!
Oh you mean the book that I am convinced is inside me!
Sokari-
So many possibilities!
Cathy-
Yes indeed.
Faith-
My old friend. Thanks for stopping in and have a great day as well.
Cranky-
Yes, that one. :)
A blank paper is a metaphore of all potential ideas!
Fab-
Yes, it's like a fresh canvas or a slab of marble. The possibilities can be as astounding as a painting by Romare Bearden or a sculpture by Michaelangelo.
Rage, rage, rage against the blankness of the page...
Happy Friday, Sir!!
Alex-
lol! I like that.
UB-
Happy Friday, Madam. :)
Ditto what Alex said....then, I have always enjoyed a good journey to discovery.
