Union Station
These are photos that I took of Union Station here in Washington, DC. Union Station is a major hub for Amtrak along the Northeast corridor. I find the architecture near the main entrance fascinating!

It can be an interesting place with the right tour guide. I can't do the plain 'ol monuments. I'd have to take you to places that I like such as: Frederick Douglas home/Cultural tour. There is a lot of history in this city that is overlooked by many who live here. It would be great!
All they're putting up here are huge concrete *things*, no design, no plan.
And I'm looking forward to the story.

DC is interesting. It's thought of as mainly a transient town by many, but there is a distinct culture here. I hope you can visit.

Ahh...nostalgia can be beautiful. I'm often nostalgic about a lot of things. I've been to Chicago many times, but never their Union Station. I'll have to visit next time.

I have heard of "Pretty Boy" Floyd, but I didn't know the history behind him and the connection to KC's Union Station so thanks for the info. :)
