I think the Caribbean countries have done nothing to help Haiti. Very sad. I heard something on BBC Caribbean yesterday about a woman who received death threats for speaking out...she's famous, I can't remember her name right now.

Edwidge Danticat. This is the second time I've heard her name in recent times. Another writer, Clare, http://www.cmwalsh.com told me about her.
Ms. Danticat is a wonderful and very nice lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her at a symposium for Haiti about 2 years ago. She's also a great writer.
