I think the Caribbean countries have done nothing to help Haiti. Very sad. I heard something on BBC Caribbean yesterday about a woman who received death threats for speaking out...she's famous, I can't remember her name right now.Hope your 2007 is filled with peace and happiness, Stephen.
GG-Thank you! I wish the same for you. Yes, I also read an article in the Washington Post by Haitian born writer, Edwidge Danticat. She also talked about the chaos there in Haiti.
Edwidge Danticat. This is the second time I've heard her name in recent times. Another writer, Clare, http://www.cmwalsh.com told me about her.
Ms. Danticat is a wonderful and very nice lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her at a symposium for Haiti about 2 years ago. She's also a great writer.
