Out to Teach

Hello everyone! I am just dropping in to say hello. I've been very busy getting settled in my new position as a college instructor. This week was the first week with my students and I have a good feeling about them. They all seem eager to learn and there is a good mixture in terms of diversity. I like that. I have been planning and typing up my course outline so things have been a little hectic. I haven't been able to blog, research or take pictures, but things are good. I miss each and every one of you. I will be back soon with...something? Peace~

bless,

i'm jealous!! what are you teaching? Professing is my goal...middle school kids are cool, it's like putting in your dues, but i LONG to have long conversations about books/writings with adults.

GOOD LOOK! although i know you don't need it!

Hey, take your time, my friend. Get settled in, and we'll hold the fort down while you get it all taken care of. :-)

Hi Stephen,
I agree with MJW, take your time. We will not go anywhere while you are getting settled! I am so happy for you that things seems to be working out as expected in the teaching dept. I only wish I had a teacher like you when I was in college!! Take care, enjoy your long weekend and talk to you when you have time. I promise, we will be here! Big Hugs!

Stephen - I am so happy you made your goal and have found something to bring your passion to. Your smiling, creative and cheerful self is indeed missed, but I'm delighted to know there are some lucky students out there!

Peace.

I'm teaching a Developmental English Composition course in writing and grammar. So, we are going back to the basic composition. This was a tough course for me in college so I am going to enjoy the challenge of teaching it. Good to hear from you.

ProfZ-
So far so good. :)

Cathy-
Thank you my sister. This is going to be an interesting semester. Yes, you would be a great art teacher. Plus, you can learn so much from the kids because their styles are so pure.

Cranky-
