Hello everyone! I am just dropping in to say hello. I've been very busy getting settled in my new position as a college instructor. This week was the first week with my students and I have a good feeling about them. They all seem eager to learn and there is a good mixture in terms of diversity. I like that. I have been planning and typing up my course outline so things have been a little hectic. I haven't been able to blog, research or take pictures, but things are good. I miss each and every one of you. I will be back soon with...something? Peace~

HI! I'm sure the students love you.
That is sooooooo cool being a teacher, so proud of you Mr. Bess, keep us posted. That is one career i've always been curious to try out...I would love to be an art teacher or creative writing. Hmmmmm...you're inspiring me now :)
We understand, what are you going to teach,? Best of luck, I think teaching is one of the most noble careers.
Hey, take your time, my friend. Get settled in, and we'll hold the fort down while you get it all taken care of. :-)
I agree with MJW, take your time. We will not go anywhere while you are getting settled! I am so happy for you that things seems to be working out as expected in the teaching dept. I only wish I had a teacher like you when I was in college!! Take care, enjoy your long weekend and talk to you when you have time. I promise, we will be here! Big Hugs!
Stephen - I am so happy you made your goal and have found something to bring your passion to. Your smiling, creative and cheerful self is indeed missed, but I'm delighted to know there are some lucky students out there!
Yes, they definitely have me on my toes. :)It will be good to see you in November. Please let us know when you get to town.
I'm teaching a Developmental English Composition course in writing and grammar. So, we are going back to the basic composition. This was a tough course for me in college so I am going to enjoy the challenge of teaching it. Good to hear from you.
So far so good. :)
Thank you my sister. This is going to be an interesting semester. Yes, you would be a great art teacher. Plus, you can learn so much from the kids because their styles are so pure.
Yes, it is a noble thing indeed. :)I'm teaching a composition course.
:)Thanks. I know that all will be well.
Ahh...thanks. I'll bet that your teachers loved you. :)Big hug back to you.
Thank you for those kind words. You know I will be visiting to get my dose of wisdom from your site. It's always a pleasure. Peace~
