African American Idol

Mwabi did a wonderful post on former American Idol contestant, Melinda Doolittle. Apparently, she took a trip to Mwabi's home in Zambia where she was able to help the locals and take in some of the culture. It's a great post if you focus on Melinda. Please go and see.

I'm so happy to see such a "high profile American" doing such a kind thing. Wow! I don't watch the program, but can't help to know about the contestants, with all the talk about AL! I hope the word spreads about Melinda. Thanks for sharing this.
