I was taught this song in 4th grade chorus. This anthem has always been one of my favorites, right along with SARAFINA!! I love the tonal patterns of the Xousa (sp?) and other tribes.

Thanks, Stephen, for remembering and reminding! we may never forget the sacrifices of the children on that day. And in a surreal way they are still paying the sacrifice in the neo-liberal economics of the current South African State. It is sad than people can easily ignore the sacrifice of the Lost Generation.
