Showing Love & Giving Thanks

"I said I'm
Leavin on a jet plane
I dont know when I'll be bak' again
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you wait for me
Hold me like you never let me go"
Lyrics are as performed by Just-Ice on his 80's hit "Latoya."
Actually, I'll be back on Monday. *smile* Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate the holiday. Much respect to all Native Americans. We should never forget the Indian Removal Act of 1830 which resulted in the Trail Of tears. Peace~

I hope you were not 'late for the sky', Stephen...even an orange one. And thanks for the link! Believ you me, if I weren't the world's worst blogger, I'd reciprocate:-(. It's well deserved.
Have a great holiday (given its origins, it should come as no surprise that Europe doesn't do Thanksgiving! But then, re. the Native Americans, I have the suspicion that not quite everyone has thanks to give....yet).

Amazing photo. Great holiday message. Where did you go? Actually, I'm not sure why I ask now: I foresee pictures of it. ;-)

P.S. and OT although not entirely: I just
reread your Fanon quotation, as I always do, and flashed on the first day of a class I took with this famous (and very nice) poet (now at UMD-College Park, btw). First day, first sentence: "To be a poet is to serve the language."
Interesting.

I aggree totally with you: always respect to native persons (not only in America, whatever the country, in New zealand for instance too), the ground belonged to them first
