Autumn's Eve

I am accepting Rethabile's (Sotho) challenge of finishing the sentence, "It is Autumn and this road..." I hope that you guys have a wonderful weekend! Once again, thanks for joining the poetry movement all about one of my favorite seasons, Autumn. Peace~

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1

It is Autumn, and this road
represents my ascension into the unknown. It is my faith that will carry me and his hand that will guide me.
Amen

Photo: This is a photo that I took out of my sunroof on Interstate 395 going north. Check out Bess Photos on Flickr for my latest photos.

The Photo is AMAZING!

Once again your words and images go together beautifully.

I read from the bottom up, so I posted my sentence down there!!

This is so fun!

Thanks! You should have seen me. I was driving and trying to get my camera out to take a picture. :) Don't worry I won't cause any accidents.
I appreciate the compliment. Have a great weekend!

Wow. How did you get everyone to clear the road for this one? Great pic; another frame-able one!

Nice words too.

I was just lucky that there were cars well ahead of me. This is why I had to pull out my camera. I know that you understand. :)

Thanks!

lol. :)Thanks. I think that I'm hooked with photography. I'm going to try and develop it. I haven't featured it much on my blog lately, but writing is my other passion. Have a great weekend as well. Peace~

Hi, Stephen, you did a beautiful photo during your round.
I'm now just wanting to show you an area of my town, cergie. The twelve pillars, you'll see, that's weird how it looks like yours.

I took this photo last spring.
I like spring too.
Now, in my town all the lawns are green, that's beautiful, really.

I am honored to be among the links on your site. Don't fear for me my brother. I am fine. Truth is not pretty but I tell it anyway. Did Nietzsche cry for Kierkegaard? I don't think so. He understood that truth must be told in all it abject misery. The truth teller is not however miserable. I check your site regularly whenever I get a moment and I have less of those these days. I love it. As for the plantains. They are best when they are soft and very ripe. Ummm Ummm good with black beans and rice adios mio, que bueno! barbie

I love that photo and it does remind me of my photo. It's the clouds, blue sky and the structure in the middle. Yes, spring is fantastic.

What a beautiful photo. When I first saw the photo I wasn't sure if it was a painting or what, because the clouds look so perfect and the color is so rich and bright. Also the highway is empty as if this is the road less traveled, but theres 3 lanes all going in the same direction so that tells me otherwise.
(Am I reading to deep into this?)

What's up my little lost friend. :) No, you are not reading too deep at all. You're elevating it to another consciousness altogether. You're allowing me to see through your own perception. Now, that I can dig. :) Good to see your name. Peace~

I don't think I've ever seen a bluer, clearer sky. Makes you feel like you can see all the way to Heaven. Keep shooting!

I wrote about autumn on my blog, but not nearly as well as you did! It's my most favorite season and one that I've been robbed of here in Houston. It's still in the upper 80s and I'm not happy about it! :)

So for me...it is Autumn and this road is suffocating my memory of what the season truly represents.

I look in the sky everyday and just gaze. It's always a beautiful sight. Thanks!

Yeah, you're in good ol' Houston. I felt that same thing when I lived in Savannah. Savannah had to seasons, Summer and Spring. :) I remember you. Thanks for stopping in.
