I agree. I too am SO sad football is over. The season seems to go way too fast. But it was a great Superbowl to watch. I am glad for Jerome "The Bus" Bettis that they won. Also VERY happy for coach Cower (I think that is how it is spelt. No disrespect intended if I spelt coachs name wrong). Have a great day Stephen!

I want so bad to join your congratulations to Steelers fans...unfortunately I recognized one of their kickers as someone who used to beat me up in middle school.

So instead, I'm just going to express my sympathy to Seahawks fans.

lol. That's funny because you never think of kickers as tough guys. :)
I was pulling for the underdogs as well.

You know I had to get in on anything football.

That thing on Sunday evening was a joke. Not even comaprable to a BCS bowl.

Now we can start watching the World Poker Championships for a change. Haha

Be good big guy.

I wish I shared some of your romantic notions about football people!! Fortunately, I don't. I am glad it's over, it was unashamedly biased, and appallingly boring!!!

The only thing about football I would miss if I ever missed it at all would be big muscular men running around in tights

:-P

Brother Jero- Do you see all of these "Lucys" on this blog. Just hating! :)
It's all good though. I can think of better ways to spend my Sundays.

Hey Stephen,

What was your points spread? How much did you think the Steelers would win by?

Good to post here again.

Stephen A. Bess said...

Hey Sumeeta! You were missed. I didn't have a points spread. I was just kicked back with a couple of Red Stripes being entertained...well somewhat. :)

just in case no one saw the reaction here in pittsburgh...people danced in the streets for hours. Yesterday for the homecoming 250,000 people showed up. and in an after game interview one player said the thing that brought them all the way to superbowl was...they are a team that loves each other. very nice!!!!!

I saw the news coverage. Those are very exciting times for a city that loves their football.
