Just A Thought

I hope that everyone had a great holiday. We still have the New Year to celebrate and I can't wait! I just wanted to reiterate what I am trying to do with this blog. I enjoy writing. I enjoy expressing my thoughts or just practicing the art of putting words together. It is my own attempt at art. Now, everyone is not going to agree with what I say in my writing or how I express myself writing and that is fine. I see objectionable material on blogs all the time and I either check it out and write my opinion (a mature opinion) or I just leave that site. Yes, I sometimes say things around family and friends that some would consider objectionable or plain offensive, but that's why I keep it among my family and friends. What I hope for from the blogging community is just constructive criticism that will either help or assist me in my endeavors. I only ask the blogging community to respect that. It's alright to leave a comment, but show some respect. By the way, I'm not going to punk out and erase any "offensive" comments because I want everyone that visits my blog to see how that person expresses themselves. Maybe they will look at as I did and say to themselves..."what in the hell was that all about?" Peace in the new year!

I had a great holiday!

Thanks for all of your comments on my blog. If people comment it should always be respectful.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad that your holiday was enjoyable. Actually, I wrote this post in response to a comment that I misunderstood. That shows just how powerful the written word is. It can be wonderful, but it can also be misrepresented and misinterpreted.

It is all to easy to misinterpret words, written or spoke. But I agree they should always be respectful of everyone else! Here the Holiday was really good and really bad. (Mine went good, but I talked to my honey and his was really bad, being that one family member is dead, and another one is maybe going to die, so that made it not so good for me either.) But, I am glad that yours went well! Take care and keep up the great work on the blog!!!

Thanks for stopping by faith. I hope that the unfortunate news is no indication of what the year will be like. Take care and thanks for your encouraging words.

You write great posts...I don't think your posts ever been done disrepectfully...I think that sometimes people's guilt and lack or comprehension allow them to interrupt harmless words into a bigger dilemma.

Happy holidays!!!

Yeah, I try to keep things respectful. It's very necessary. Thank you! Have a great New Year!

Tryphina-
I'm happy to hear that your holiday was so nice. No, I no one hit me. I misunderstood someone earlier. It's all good. :) Next time I will just ask.
Yes, a book in published story or book in '06 would be wonderful. As for groupies, thank you for being 1 of 3. :)

Stephen, was my comment about urban snow disrespectful?

Crallspace-
Initially, I did misinterpret what you said. I understood it clearly after you explained it. I thought that you felt my poem was some "shit" **giggling**, but I now know that wasn't the case. My bad.

I was wondering who could leave anything disrespectful about your writting....glad you cleared it up.
I do understand how things are sometimes misunderstood, I myself wonder about some comments....and have also been misunderstood..its a fine line we walk in the blogger commenting world.

Yes, it's all good. Sometimes, a brief comment can be misconstrued because of the fragmented structure. I'm glad that all is clear too.

Aw, no.

Glad we cleared that up though. I like taking cracks at cities, regular food, etc. every chance I get. The poem was fine.

Yeah, the funny thing is that urban snow is the worst. You can't make snow cream with that shit. Haa haa! :)

My Holiday was great and I'm sure yours was too.

Brother Stephen I adore you and all of your wonderful comments that are always filled with wisdom.

I have noticed that you don't go as in depth with me on my blog anymore as you used to but that's okie I can adjust. :-D

I always comment respectfully, but there are times when people misinterpret my responses. I will always say what I feel in an unoffensive way and when people take offense I check what I say to see what might have made them feel that way. I hate gaurding my comments for those that are overly sensitive. Funny thing is, I'm overly sensitive. *wink*

Glad to see that what you were referring to with this post was a misunderstanding.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

JB, thank you for that wonderful comment. You know...I pray for wisdom as often as possible. I have not been able to leave comments like I've wanted because the publishing house that I work for has been so busy. However, I am happy to hear that you can get something out of my 2cents. :)
