1945-2005I saw my first August Wilson play in 1999 and I've been hooked ever since. August Wilson's words that came alive that day at the Second Stage theater in New York inspired me to tell my own story. May God bless his soul. Playwright's Obituary.

I saw the Ma Rainey's Black Bottom the last time it was on broadway. I think two years ago with Whoopi Goldberg and Charles Dutton....

See...that's why New York is such a great place for theater. DC has pretty good theater too, but nothing compares to the appple. Also, I think that it's great that they are going to name a theater in NY after August Wilson.
I have never seen an August Wilson play even tho from time to time one come here to St. Louis.
I am glad that my poem remind you of P L Dunbar's Little Brown Baby he is an icon of African American poetry and any thing that I can do to point to him is great work.

Yes, Dunbar is one of my favorites. I have some of his poetry memorized.
