I'm not sure which I like better, the pic or the poem...but when push comes to shove it's the adorable little girl I'll remember. :-)

Oh ! Stephen, that's such a beautiful poem !
Which father doesn't wish that hischild become proud and respectful? My own father wrote to me that he wished that my eyes will never have only one tear...

Brown baby, brown is his name. "Brune", (Brown) is the christian name that I would have like to give if I'ld have another daughter
I had one daughter and then two sons and I had no christian name for a girl when I was waiting my little boys. Only "Claire", you know Claire is also an American Christian name. And it means clear. My daughter and my sons are all so dark haired...

This filled my heart up with hope and joy! Lil Cuz has many rooting for her and look, she's already reaching for the world.

Peace.

I agree with the above comments. I love them both. She is SO CUTE, and a better poem could not be written just for her. (i know it was not written just for her, but it could have been!) Have a great day! Take Care,

Alex-
Thank you and welcome back to you as well. :)

Pwife-
Those prayers will be answered.

Geoffrey-
Thank you sir. Blessings to you and yours.

MJW-
She is unforgettable. You should witness her in person. She is so funny. She lives in Everette, NC.

Cergie-
That's beautiful. It sounds like you are continuing the same tradition of compassion your father started with you.

Zapped-
lol! Yes, she wants the world and all in it. This includes my camera that she was desperately trying to take. :)

Faith-
Thank you. I felt the poem fit well too. I wanted to showcase Mr. Brown and show off my cute little cousin at the same time. :)

Such a little cutie! They are so curious and easily impressionable. It's so important to set a good foundation and to let them know that they have love and support all around them.

I see - I might have to check out some more of his work. But I see you are a BAD dude out of DC (especially with your newly posted work).

Lovely, this poem is just lovely. I miss your posting, but you are out teaching. It is more important and someone like you possess so much good to give back.

If I could play the guitar, I think I'd have loved to thumb it to something like this.
