This a newspaper clip of me on college radio back in the day (90s). That's me on the microphone. I'm in good company with fellow dee jay Michael Wayne Swanston(left) along with Jazz historian and station manager Theron "Ike" Carter.
By the way, I took some pictures on my trip south. Check them out on Flickr. Peace~

It's great to have you back. I love your pics on Flickr, the cross and watermelon shots are great! Welcome back...
Well, you know how I feel about jazz and college radio, so I'll skip to a more important question: was the Rib Shack any good?
Welcome Back!
Glad to have to back Stephen! I will check out the Flickr shots as soon as I have a free moment. Take care!
Ahh - Good ole Ebenezer. My first trip there was in '98. Our church has their pastor in yearly and we send our pastor and a choir there once a year. In '98 it was the Youth Choir's turn to go - and since I was co-president I made sure I went. Lo and behold but who was in the front row? Ms. Coretta Scott King herself. I got to talk to her, shake her hand and get a hug. I went back in '04 after they stopped having services in the old church. Our family was on its way to Augusta for a family reunion. We stopped at the Center and took a long tour. In fact - I'm going to break out the pictures and blog about it today.
Thanks for stirring up the memories STEPHEN!!!
Wow, you look so young, and you had a fade? LOL...like you without the hair
Love all those pictures, Mr. Stephen. You certainly have an eye for the snapshot and a good ear for jazz.
For however long you may be with us, it is good to have you back, friend.

My time as a blogger has come to an end, the boat is drifting off from the peer etc. But I'll still be here...reading your words, being enlightened. And I'll still be with you on the space. Peace.
