Willie Mays is one of the few American sports person who 'sticks' in my mind. I think of cards and bubble gum when I hear his name, I don't know why.

Yes, he's great and a little unsung. We always hear of Jackie Robinson but none of Willie Mays. I'm sure that he has a great story. Besides, I love the song, "...Hey Willie!"
