Thought of the Day: Dubois

“The most important thing to remember is this: To be ready at any moment to give up what you are for what you might become.”~ W.E.B. Du Bois

About Dubois: William Edward Burghardt Dubois (February 23, 1868 – August 27, 1963) was an American sociologist, historian, civil rights activist, Pan-Africanist, author, and editor. He was the first African American to graduate from Harvard with a Ph.D in 1895.  One of his most treasured works is The Souls of Black Folk, which was published in 1903.

Rather interesting thought.

Give up the negatives too, for what we might become if we hold on to them.

Yes, that's my focus GG. Especially as I celebrate my birthday today. I want to die to the things that hold me back. Moving forward, sis! Take care and blessings to you and your family.
