MC Spotlight: Natalie Lue (NML)

The book is called: Mr. Unavailable and the Fallback Girl by Natalie Lue (aka NML). I’ve been reading NML for about three years on her blog, Tired of men... I have giggled and scratched my head to many of her articles about dating and men. She told me about her book long ago, but I thought that I would give it a review after I’ve read the entire book – Haa!! Time proved me wrong, and she did warn me.

Anyway, I have read some of the book and what I’ve read so far is great. I saw a lot of old “Me” in this book. Yeah, I was once “Mr Unavailable.” As a matter of fact, the longest relationship I’ve ever been in is my current marriage of three years. Before I was married, my relationships lasted 8 months to 1 year – tops! Anyway, I have provided an excerpt of this wonderful work. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Natalie provides many chapters and many different scenarios that you will definitely find a piece of yourself in. Check out this excerpt:

Why you catch Mr Unavailable when he falls…on you…

I guarantee that the reasons that keep you at bay from commitment are very familiar to you. It is surprisingly easy to get caught up in the cycle of being a Fallback Girl and it will seem like you give off a scent to Mr Unavailable’s when in fact, you behave in a distinctive way that lets him know in no uncertain terms that you’re a prime target. Just as much as you fulfill certain criteria that let him feel comfortable about being ambiguous, he ticks a lot of boxes for you. Remember that if you consistently make a habit of being with Mr Unavailable and accommodate his behaviour, it’s because it works for you. A bitter pill to swallow no doubt, but check out the reasons why you love emotionally unavailable men.

Listen, have a wonderful and Happy Valentines Day if you celebrate. If you don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, then just celebrate love. That’s what I do. That day is an opportunity to love a little extra. Peace

Thanks for introducing us to NML. Her book and blog are intriguing.

That excerpt is quite a teaser! It's cruel to leave us hanging like that. LOL Enjoy your celebration of love, Stephen.

Thanks, dear Stephen, for opening my eyes to an author. Confess that in recent time this avid reader hasn't got through many books. Read many blog posts, but need to get back to the joy of reading and holding a book.

Hope your Saturday was a happy one with your very dear Ratu. Hey - you had the sense to marry a very fine and very special Woman from "Down Under". Care, love and huggles to you both, Mickle xxx

Thanks for the shoutout Mr Bess - you a Mr Unavailable? Never! ;-) The wonderful thing is that you have changed which serves as a reminder that we only become available (both men and women) when we feel damn good and ready!

I hope you had a lovely Valentine's day weekend - we don't normally do anything but we went out to dinner and made the most of my dad the babysitter :-)

Big hugs and thank you for sharing my work xx
