Camus said this? I always thought he didn't believe, I thought that's how existentialists lived, and that he was an existentialist. I'm learning...

Camus was an atheist. This quote, at best, has been widely misinterpreted; even more likely, Camus never said it. A quick google search will bring up no credible sources but much skepticism.
