My Trip Home
Yesterday, I saw this old woman on Minnesota Avenue with bags from the grocery store. I noticed her walking while I was riding by on my trip home. Her frame was bent and twisted from old age that left her head tilted and bowed. The bags she carried swayed side to side from the rhythm of her walk. I wondered how far she was traveling with her infant like stroll that seemed choreographed and tedious. She'll take hours at that pace I thought. Where are her children or a well intended neighbor? The city is cruel to her kind. I hope that she'll be alright. I must remember to pray for her protection and well being. Well, I hope that this weekend will be a nice and safe one for us all. Peace~
