A true Artist is the one who survived that fear unscathed. S/he continues to enjoy freedom of expression as evidenced/portrayed by this magnificent journal entry. And I am not talking the "Imus" freedom of speech!!

D.C. the "Chocolate City" was strategically denied the right to vote. This city has been denied their rights for so long that most of the long-time residence have given up. The face of the city is changing due to gentrification so the issue is gaining momentum. I thought of taking off to protest, but here I am sitting in the office. :) I hope for a good turn out as well.Stephen A. I also kept a journal for many many years, ...Cute. I also kept a journal for many many years, starting as a teen, and it's nice looking back to see the person you used to be.

BTW, I really hope D.C. finally gets the right to vote, I know a protest/march is scheduled for today but the weather is so crappy that I worry not many people will show. I live a tad outside the District in Maryland, but still, that's atrocious that D.C. residents are still being denied their basic democratic right to representation!Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17504338910632563310noreply@blogger.com
