Photo and Quote: Israel and Palestine

"I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain." ~James Baldwin (American writer)

It is just so sad, and all we can do is hope and pray for an end. A permanent end. My heart breaks for everyone involved in that war. (Well, all wars for that matter, they all are sad.)

Beautiful quote. Hate is so ingrained in that region, I often wonder if it will ever end. Once that human connection is gone, how do you get it back?

Yes, intense prayer is needed. The body count grows in Gaza.

So true. I'm not sure if it will end, but then again everything has a beginning and an end -- but when? Anyway, good to see you. It's been ages! :)

Brother Baldwin tells the truth. Perhaps one day we'll all realize that we're more alike than we are different.

So true. We really are. The differences that separate us are food, customs, and language. Otherwise, we laugh, cry, love, and unfortuanately hate. Thanks.

The truth of James Baldwin's words just walked in my soul without knocking, sat down and smiled and said "What are you gonna do with me?" I'm gonna shake hands for starters. Thanks for bringing the truth by to visit, Stephen.
