Happy Autumn!

Autumn...she has always been my muse.

This is an inspirational time of year for me. I think that I associate it with going to school. Nevertheless, it is the time of year when my creativity seems to increase. I wonder what she [Autumn] will give us this year? Tell me, when is your inspiration or creativity at its peak? Maybe your lucky and it's all year round. Maybe it comes in spurts. What's up?

My inspiration comes in spurts. I am, at times, inspired by the fact that others are inspired.

Autumn reminds me of school also and love, always love. It is my favorite time of year. I am happy to see you are well, my brotha.

Oh I am so a girl for Autumn. I am decorating the house for the fall. Pumpkins abound! I LOVE this time of year. The days are shorter and the nights are longer. Lots of excuses to cuddle under a warm blanket. The cripsness in the air! I feel the need to be baking pies!

LOL! Can you tell I love this time of year!

These days I'm not sure what triggers the creativity these days but it helps to be relaxed and with a very small todo list ;-) I love autumn although I love summer more...when we have one...

Inspiration comes continuously through little everyday moments... can't explain it better than this, but it's always there (something to be written about, that is). And I'm high-strung on nature (which I think is absolutely intoxicating), so you know I love autumn (and winter and summer and spring...)

I must make it to the UK. It's a shame that I haven't. How are you sister?

Rethabile-
Yes, I love it. It makes me want to take a course. :)

Ruthibelle-
lol! All of the above -- I feel that. I love summer too, but I just can't stand the Washington humidity. Welcome

Autumn is a favoured season for me. And yet, here it is now Spring, another time I like. In NZ we have no public holidays from early June until late October, a long haul through our Winter. For those here with the creative writing muse, it wouldn't suprise me if it temporarily left over the winter. Must admit I'm feeling like expanding out from the more tiny, detailed hand quilting of the past few months to digging in the "garden". Although the evening quilting is a very tranquil thing for me.

Pumpkins are a wonderful thought - especially roasting golden pieces in olive oil, sprinkle witha little salt.... Oh dear, my mind never strays far from good food.

Enjoy all the wonderfulment of your Autumn.... and the words and creativity it inspires
