Poem?

The road to writing a poem a day is too tiresome. So, I'm going to sit under this tree here and rest. I know...I know what I said, but I'm so tired and that shade looks so nice and cool.

P.S. I want to give a big thanks to new blog friend, Lovebabz. She's cooler than this shade tree. Peace~

Seriously, I've decided to spend the rest of this month focusing on writing that I've been compiling for sometime now. Thanks for the support.

I agree, it has been tiring, so don't wear yourself out. Just keep writing something! Good luck on your project and post some poetry when you can.

Hey Stephen,
Your effort and the intentions behind the effort is amazing! And thanks for the shout-out! I rather like that I am cooler than a shade tree! Thank you kindly!

However I do hope you pen a few more poems before the month is up---no pressure, just as the spirit moves you.

Back on my pink bicycle and home I go...see you tomorrow!

lol. Yes, classic.

Kawana-
Thank you. How are you?

Pwife-
lol! I know. I was ambitious. It was just too much thinking for me everyday and I wanted to put down some quality stuff. Plus, my job has me on lock and I'm going to be doing plenty of writing except it's not poetry. :) Peace~

BossMack-
Thank you, brother. I can appreicate the respect and support.

Lovebabz-
My only other choice was if your name was Raul. Then, I could say that "Raul is cooler than the water in a swimming pool." :)
I will put something down as the month progresses. I will mostly be concentrating on other writing with personal projects and my job, but I'm still down with MC. Thanks again!

I keep coming back here because that line tickles me...I am cooler than a shade tree! I love it!

I don't think I have been paid such a high compliment. LOL Again thanks.

lol! I meant every word. :) Isn't funny how you can get a sense of someone's personality and spirit through their words. This is one of the ways that technology is a good thing and a blessing.

Your photo of the tree is a poem, Stephen:

Trees, by Joyce Kilmer, 1886-1918

I think that I shall never see
A poem as lovely as a tree,
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast
A tree that looks at God all day
and lifts her leafy arms to pray.
A tree that may, in summer, wear
A nest of robins in her hair
Upon whose bosom snow has lain
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

By the way, I can't think of any quirks from your tag. I might be able to come up with 2?? I'll give it some thought.
