Poem 6: A Child's Prayer

A Child's Prayer

Dear God

I want you to have a hand in all that I do
When I do my daily chores and arithmetic too

I want you to speak for me in all that I say
When I say my grace for dinner or ask to go outside and play

I want you to protect me and my family as we sleep at night
When all our world is dark and our only comfort is your light

Amen

Printing this for my kids. I am the carpool Mommy during the week so I have my 4 plus my Girlfriend/Soror/Neighbor 2 kids. Every Morning before we pull out of the driveway someone has to say a prayer. Actually they have assigned themselves a day--so this will be one that I hand out and they can decided who would like to read it! THANKS!

See you tomorrow!

What is right what is wrong I don't know. I lost recently my elder young brother and he was wondering to him self, and to me too : will I go at the devil ?
I believe whatever you can do, if you do your best you cannot be in the hand of the devil. Even if you do a few less than your best. Don't you think so ?
I believe my brother is alive now in Paradise.

Cergie-
If your brother was concerned then he most likely secured his place in the heavens. I pray he is with the Father in Paradise right now. God bless him.

For the rest of us. We must ask forgiveness of our sins and ask to receive the Holy Spirit through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Then, voilà...we are bound for Heaven.
