The Emotions: Peace Be Still

There is nothing like the black church. This scene reminds me of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Can anyone relate? Well, I hope you like it. Enjoy your Sunday. Peace~

Sheila's soprano is so freakin' pristine. Wanda's wailing stirred the dead in me. This delighted my insomiacal perusings.

Thanks for the visit, the link and welcome. Yes, I love the Emotions. I've had there best of cd for years and I saw them in concert about 2 years ago. Lovely ladies with tremendous voices.

Compared to what is out there now, I think I prefer old school, The Emotions, to what we get today. There seemed to be more individualism during that time. Now, everyone sounds the same.

I AM SHIVERING!

That's great Stephen, really.
Standing ovation. Here in Italy, usual chatolic chorus are not that cool. Quite boring indeed...

:-D

Yeah, the black church is great!

What a fab video! This takes me right back to childhood! Lots of big hair, big hats, white tights and big voices. Thanks for sharing x

The song alone gives you chills, very spiritual and enlightening

I really loved this part of the movie in Wattstax. Man wasn't that amazing. There was a feeling that you can hear in their song, and it was one in which you can tell they've been through some stuff. And the naturals are beautiful too....

Much Love.
