C'est la vie

Hello all! I haven't posted this week because life and work has been a bit demanding. It's all good though. It's all for the better. By the way, this a picture of me giving a presentation at one our meetings a month ago. Ain't I clean? I was witty that day. The crowd appreciated my twisted humor. *smile* Peace~

Well groomed, looking good there brotha, I'm sure the ladies are pleased with your presence. Inspite of the busy schedule don't forgot to take some time out for you and yours, enjoy the weekend coming up.

Happy Hump Day, mann!

Thanks! Yes, I have to take the time for me and the family. This weekend will be busy, but I'm still looking forward to it. Enjoy yours as well and happy hump day!! :)

SO fresh and so CLEAN CLEAN!!!!! Alright brotha Bess - PREACH!!!
I know exactly how you feel - I've been slacking and backsliding for about a month now. I have a fresh face in my life and I just can't seem to work my blog around him. Thats a GREAT thing. :-)
Come back soon. Kiss the Wife.

By the way, who's that handsome man giving the presentation? OH OH it's you!! Very neat Stephen. I'd love to attend one of them.
Have a great day. Hugs, Ani

lol! I know I look like my preaching daddy. :) Yes, a new face is a good thing. He'd better treat you right too. I will kiss my wife. She enjoys the kiss request you know.

Analia-
;) "Hump Day" is just Wednesday or the middle of the week. People are trying to get to the weekend, but they still have to get over that hump called Wednesday. :)
Thank you for the compliment. You're too sweet. Big hug~

Mwabi-
What's up! I was just talking about my department and how much we've progressed over the past year. My boss said that she wanted me to present because she felt I could make it interesting. Surprisingly, I did. :) I say that because that was my first time. Thanks!

Ali-
What's up bro! Yes, long time. I really appreciate that compliment. I enjoy sharing what I've learned. I hope that all is well with you and your folks. Take care. :)

Wow, Stephen, you look such a star up there! To the manor born, like we Brits say! And it's great that it was more than just image projection - more than just a suit! But I honestly wouldn't expect anything less. Carry on...we hear that Bill Clinton's topped §40 million for that line of work!

Writer-
Thanks! Much appreciated.

Rethabile-
Thank you brother. Good to see you. Where have you been?

Cergie-
Your too kind. Thank you. :)

To All:
It's amazing what a suit can do for a brother. :)

A Prayer:
May God help us to realize all of our strengths and talents. I pray we use those talents to the best of our abilities for good. Amen.

Stephen, wow, you look dapper in your suit :) I wish I was there in the crowd, I would have been hollering, lol

Stephen A. Bess said...

Cathy-
Thank you. :)I had fun that day. I would've been hollering too because I would see you and say, "Cathy, what are you doing here?" :)

Funny, I'm on the subway the other day and I see a lady with the Essence magazine. I say to her, "Excuse me. Do you know where the poetry is in that issue?" [I couldn't remember the page] She said, "No, but let me see." She looked through it and couldn't find it. I was like, dag! I need to just go buy it. So, I go to the store and now they have somebody else on the cover besides Terrence Howard! :)

Professorial is how you look ... in the good way. (As opposed to the dusty weirdo way.)

I've been here and there, but mostly preparing canopic jar for publication in the next few days (canopicjar.com for those who don't know it).

I sneak over here as often as I can so as not to miss much. Cheers

Hey it is so refreshing to see a man stand in front of an audience and wow them with intelligence...while looking sexy and good...you look great my friend and your audience seems captivated.

By the way prioritybooks is me- Rose. Blogger is tripping. It goes back and forth to prioritybooks and lesson learned.

Mr. Bess, actually the poetry section in Essence is always in the last few pages of the magazine. Start looking at page 186 or 187 and you'll find some hidden treasures. The lady in the train must of had the March issue since the April issue came out last week and most stores don't have them out for sale as of yet

Stephen A. Bess said...

Profzero-
Thank you. I had those professors. I'm thinking of Dr. Chmabers and Dr. Waters. They were two weird professors. They were also my favorite. Yeah, they were strange. :)

Stephen A. Bess said...

Rethabile-
Yes, I see your busy. Well, press on brother. I hope things work out as scheduled.

Rose-
Thank you so much. I'll have to wear this suit more often. :)

Fizzio-
Thank you!

Cathy-
Thanks. I'll be looking out for it.
